Ranch Horses
An Outstanding opportunity to own the best of the west- time honored bloodlines... if you know who Hank Weisecamp, Buster Welsh, Tom Dorrance and Ray Hunt are, than you probably will like these horses.
In the tradition of real horses and real horsemen, Don Corbin spent his life researching bloodlines- here is his personal mare and his last baby,
from the 62 Bar Quarter
Horses 2008 stallion, (Weisecamp over Doc Olena)

East- 100% good mom, good girl.---
Oh- and don't let her shape fool you- she is fast!
This is a sweet tempered mare,
very willing and solid, She has a great work ethic and is a fun ride. Lots of athleticism, great stops, turns andhas had lots of cow experience..
Strong, That's a big power plant back there!
This mare taught me everything about the American Quarter Horse- and why they are legends.

DO NOT COME AND SEE HIM UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO FALL IN LOVE!
THIS IS A SWEET YOUNG COLT,
AND WILL BE A GREAT USING, WORKING YOUNG STALLION.
SUPER EASY TO HANDLE, QUICK AND SMART
NO GROUND OR BEHAVIOR ISSUES, HE IS BEING "RAISED" BY A 16.3 WARMBLOOD GELDING, SO HE GETS TO PLAY TOUGH AND STILL BE KEPT RESPECTFUL.
THANK YOU, "UNCLE TED !"

Foaled, Tome, New Mexico

D.E. Corbin, breeder
62 Bar quarter horses.
This is Don's last baby, and the last baby born on the ranch..
Though Don would pass in early November, 2012, in September he made one last trip back to the ranch, to see this baby., and approve him..
He was "satisfied"
God Bless You, and thank you Don..

august 9, 2012
5 weeks old.

His Resume: 15 months
THIS COLT IS AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF THE AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE:
SO EASY TO HANDLE, TRAIN AND BE AROUND.

AND THEN WHEN YOU ASK, THE FIRE!

Ground broke, quiet, respectful
Halter broken, leads, ties, stands quietly
Blankets, changes "clothes" in the middle of the pasture, no halter, no rope..
There will never be a big drama about tacking him and handling him.
Willing to work on lunge line
Hauls with Mom, but wont be a drama loader.
Drinks from hose
Respects Fences
Tarp Friendly- no fear
Likes the Ladies
Hangs with "Uncle Ted", rough houses and face fights with him.
(ps. "uncle Ted is a 16.3 AWB gelding, but that doesn't intimidate Key.)
He started eating with mom on day one,
Weaned (February 2, 2013) out with no hassles, this will be an exceptional "partner horse", he is so willing to please and quick to pick up on what he's asked.
(foaled, handled and trained by a "vintage" horsewoman )

This is not a hot house exotic:
If you want a real ranch horse, and babies in the Hank Weisecamp tradition
Look hard at H.C Quixotic Lady
Skip's Quioxtic Six
These horses can go from the gathering pen to the arena, to the show ring, and then make some more!.
Enjoy the difference with these foundation bred horses.

Great Home A Must
Up for sale, and to great homes only. Lease considered.
When I was very young, (a long, long, long time ago, I read an article( in a cherished Western Horseman) about  rancher Hank Weisecamp's breeding program in Alamosa, Colorado, and I said "I want a Weisecamp quarter horse"
Western Horseman 1979 "The Man Behind the Wiesecamp Horses"
Decades later, I ended up living on
the 62 Bar Quarter Horse Ranch, and in April 2012, I realized I was going to have one... I think Hank would be "satisfied." too.
